A Typical Day in Ski Trails
Imagine a typical day skiing at your favorite ski resort, Northstar. Waking up in a condo on the slopes,
Northern Lake Tahoe region of California. This Ski Trails unit is one of the few true ski-in ski-out
condos in the
entire Lake Tahoe area. Many others may lay claim to ski-out and ski-out but this unit
is the real deal.
This nicely furnished condo is approximately 100 yards up the mountain from the
Northstar Gondola and Echo Chair
lift. With free parking and access to Tahoe's famous homeowners
recreation center with a heated outdoor swimming
pool, weight room, game room, and numerous hot
tubs including the largest hot tubs in all of Lake Tahoe this
location can not be beat.
two twins upstairs in
the loft. A full kitchen comes with all the comforts you would expect; electric
stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster
and everything you need to prepare healthy meals
for your family. Free parking is just outside your front door.
no need to rush out and drive.
You and your family can enjoy a healthy breakfast while everyone gets
ready for the best day skiing. When the lifts open your out the door
with our skiis or snowboard beating
the crowds just getting into the resort. Since your on the slopes there is no need to waste time
getting onto
a shuttle bus like everyone else had to do. At lunch time everyone meets up at the condo to enjoy lunch
and the opportunity to warm up, get dry,
change clothes, or just relax. This way everyone can avoid the
high resort prices for a quickly prepared hot dog, burrito, or whatever.
After lunch your group gets back
on the slopes ahead of the afternoon crowd and your back on the slopes.
Here is were the phrase Location... Location... Location really begins to shine. Just before the lifts close for
the day, (I suggest approximately 3:45)
get to the top of the mountain for coffee or hot coco. Relax and imagine
one final run down the mountain, unencumbered with other skiiers. Just you and the slopes. While
the rest of
Northstar Skiiers race down the mountain to get back on the shuttle bus, a crowded ride to the parking lot,
only to fight the traffic leaving the resort.
Eventually the ski patrol will come by and ask you to leave, but
when you do there will be nothing but empty runs in front of you the entire way back down the mountain
to the comfort and warmth of your condo.
